Our hands on and rigorous sailing program is designed to get sailors of all ages and abilities going on the water. Whether you are a first time sailor or an experienced skipper, we have a program designed to expand upon your knowledge of sailing, and get you the experience you're looking for
Summer Sailing Program Levels
In beginners sailing, you'll learn the fundamentals of sailing in our smallest sailboats, the Sunfish. You will learn the basics of water safety, sailboat rigging, tying knots, reading wind direction, tacking, and basic navigation.
In intermediate sailing, you will be introduced to the Cape Cod Mercury, a two-sailed sloop-rigged sailboat. Precision sailing and other skills will prepare you for the bigger boats.
In advanced sailing, you'll truley hone your sailing skills. You'll learn navigation, racing techniques, and the finer points of boat handling on all kinds of sailing craft both big and small.

Friday classes are fun recreational days with racing, kayaking, and paddleboarding!

Non-Members - $40.00
Group sailing lessons are available to all members and non-members. Members receive one free session included in your membership package. Class size depends on demand for the program. No formal sign up required - simply arrive on the first day of the session at the time you prefer to get started. Contact the boating program for more information.

Private lessons give you the ability to set your own schedule and take classes when YOU have the time. Your lessons can be one-on-one or with friends and family. Lessons must be scheduled in advance. Contact the program director for more information.
